Fishing on Lake Ontario can result in some of the best Bass, Salmon, and Lake Trout in the world. With the Thousand Islands bridge at Alexandria Bay NY only 23 miles away and plenty of harbors like Cape Vincent you just can't go wrong fishing the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario.

Also close by is Sylvia Lake where the fishing is family style. There are dozens of excellent fishing lakes within a short drive. Boat launches are generally available but please check first because good fishing is sometimes in the least travelled place!
